Cooks Academy is recruiting an Operations Manager. This is an integral managerial and results focused role with an emphasis on people management and development. The purpose of the Operations Manager role is to ensure the smooth running of the business, to maintain open lines of communication between staff and management, to continuously upgrade management systems, to monitor and measure the systems in place.
Specifically the role will encompass:
•Management and development of team members.
•Quality supervision.
•Communication and implementation of standard operating procedures
•Lesson management which entails staffing, planning and innovation.
•Budgetry control, meeting targets.
•Liaison with corporate clients, celebrity chefs and other agencies.
The Ideal Candidate
The Operations Manager job profile requires a person who has drive, assertion and the ability to communicate with others in a logical manner. The ability to see new systems and ideas through

Operating within a changeable environment, the successful candidate will be able to adopt a friendly approach, with strong influencing and persuasion skills. A demonstrable track record of achievement in similar industries will be necessary.
